AWC History:

AWC, Inc., began operations as Alford, Woods, and Childs Engineering Company, Inc., in 1965, devoting the first couple of years primarily to establishing relationships with customers and manufacturers and obtaining product lines.

Expanding considerably since its beginnings, our company now operates 15 locations in 5 states (Louisiana, Alabama, Georgia, Texas, and Tennessee) and employs over 240 people. Our Corporate Headquarters is located in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. AWC represents a number of the leading manufacturers of process equipment, automation, instrumentation, and specialties. Our broad-based customer list includes many Fortune 500 companies.
