AWC Inc. has acquired the personnel and assets of the Power and Controls Automation (PCA) and Valve and Controls (V&C) divisions of Power and Pumps, Inc. (P&P), a company headquartered in Jacksonville, FL.   Forty (40) new employee owners will be added to the AWC family as a result of this transaction.

Some of you may recognize PCA as one of the largest Siemens Automation distributors in the country covering Georgia and Florida and V&C as a long time Honeywell distributor in Florida.   The new personnel / product lines will become part of the AWC-Southeast division and goes far in achieving our long term goal of being the predominant automation, instrumentation, and controls supplier in the Southeastern United States.

Alabama and Florida Panhandle as a distributor/representative for their product line which encompasses: Programmable Controllers, Operator Interfaces, Motors, Drives, Switchgear, and Automation Products.  AWC, Inc. will support the new Alabama and Florida Panhandle territory with a sales office and inventory in Mobile.

Maxon has named AWC, Inc. Louisiana as the official distributor/representative for their product line which encompasses: Burners, Gas Valves, Oil Valves, and Combustion Systems. AWC, Inc. will support the new Louisiana territory with sales offices and inventory in Baton Rouge, Lafayette, Lake Charles, and New Orleans.

GDS Corp has named AWC, Inc. Louisiana as a distributor/representative for their product line which encompasses: Controllers, Loop Accessories, Monitors, Process Monitors, Sensors, Systems, and Gas & Flame Detection Products.  AWC, Inc. will support the new Louisiana territory with sales offices and inventory in Baton Rouge, Lafayette, Lake Charles, and New Orleans.

Innovative Pressure Technologies has named AWC, Inc. Texas as a distributor/representative for their product line which encompasses: Ball, Needle, DBB, Check, and Manifold valves, Fittings & Adapters, and Tubing. AWC, Inc. will support the new Texas territory with sales offices and inventory in Austin, Beaumont, Corpus Christi, Dallas, Freeport, Houston, and San Antonio.

Metso Corporation has named AWC, Inc. Louisiana and southern Arkansas as a distributor/representative for their Jamesbury, and Neles product line of ball, butterfly, control valve, and valve networking products.
