As a Warehouse Manager, you will be responsible for the overall organization of warehouse facility in terms of “Order Fulfillment” shipping/receiving, put-away, cycle count, accuracy, handling, and delivery of warehouse inventory. You will be an essential part to the success of AWC, completing each function properly and exceeding our customers expectation.

  • Set and achieve outstanding goals for the DC in relation to Company Standards and Directives
  • Direct, guide, and promote teamwork within personnel.
  • Ensure all operational processes and procedures are being followed.
    • Ensure accuracy of the inbound/outbound process, Managing KPIs and adjust when necessary.
    • Celebrate wins.
  • Interaction with all local division personnel and management as well as companywide personnel.
  • Oversee all daily DC operations including:
    • Order fulfillment, inventory control and administration to ensure the highest level of the delivery process to enhance the customer experience.
    • Perform safety audit of facility to ensure compliance with safety SOPs.
    • Manage Kitting, sub-assembly and other value-added requirements, using BOM (bill of materials) and follow a strict QC assembly instruction/process.
  • Oversee weekly or occasional operations including:
    • Factory Returns
      • Inspect and process vendor damage and procures return to vendor authorizations.
      • Damaged freight claims with carriers
    • DRP Cycle Counts and Quarterly Statistical Inventory Counts
    • Manage a neat and organized warehouse environment.
  • Upgrade and offer ideas for improvement & proactive problem-solving skills.

 

 

Required Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience
  • Excellence in internal/external customer service required.  
  • Forklift maintenance
  • Experience in selecting and interviewing process for potential open position within the warehouse, performance feedback, complete annual reviews and one-on-one with direct reports
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Mechanical and electrical skills
  • Possess a sense of urgency for our customers’ and vendors’ requirements.
  • Show flexibility in solving problems.
  • Independent thinker

  • Willing to put forth 110% for AWC and its customers.
  • Warehousing/Distribution Center Management

Bonus Qualifications

  • Office 365, advanced excel.
  • This is where you can list exact job specific knowledge HazMat/DOT certification
  • Some Manufacturing, kitting, and sub assembly work  
  • 5-10+ years of experience within the industry, high volume, face pace, distribution environment
  • Solid communication skills
